We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Fostering and Kinship Team in Worcestershire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families. As a QSW in the Fostering and Kinship Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing and supporting foster and kinship carers to ensure they meet the needs of the children placed with them. Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to inform care planning and interventions. Developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England. Experience in fostering and kinship work, with a strong understanding of the relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
