Are you a dedicated and passionate Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children & Families Team. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure the safety and well-being of children within our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing support plans that promote positive outcomes for children. Working closely with families to provide guidance and support in challenging situations. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to deliver holistic care. Preparing and presenting reports for court proceedings when necessary.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working within a statutory Children’s Social Work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
