Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to support the best interests of the child Attending court hearings and meetings to represent the child's needs and rights Providing direct support and guidance to children and young people in care Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration Demonstrated experience working with children in care and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex caseloads A commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children

The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
