We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Trafford - Cared for Children team. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to support the best interests of the child Attending court hearings and meetings to represent the child's needs and rights Providing direct support and guidance to children and young people in care Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and outcomesEssential qualifications and skills:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their well-being and safeguarding their rights.

Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Providing support and guidance to families to enhance their capacity to care for their children Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and ensure appropriate interventions Advocating for the rights of children with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in the communityThe successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
