We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Trafford Children with Disability team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their well-being and safeguarding their rights.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Providing support and guidance to families to enhance their capacity to care for their children
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and ensure appropriate interventions
  • Advocating for the rights of children with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in the community

The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities and their families
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and manage complex cases
