We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Children in Care Team in Newham. As a Qualified Social Worker in the Children in Care Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the individual needs of children in care.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to children, foster carers, and birth families.
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to promote the best outcomes for children.
- Participating in court proceedings and preparing reports as required.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Recognized Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working within a Children in Care Team or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
