Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker status with a valid Social Work England registration.
  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
