We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - MASH Team in Newham. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in need. Your primary duties will include:
- Undertaking assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans that address the identified needs and ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to coordinate services and support for families.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to review progress and make informed decisions regarding child protection.
The successful candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a Children's Services setting, preferably in a MASH team.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals effectively.
