Children's SW - Safeguarding and Assessment Team - Lincolnshire
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Safeguarding and Assessment Team in Lincolnshire. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and work collaboratively with other professionals to provide the necessary support to children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in accordance with local and national safeguarding policies.
- Developing and implementing intervention plans to address identified needs and risks.
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
