We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for our First Response / Screening Team in Leicestershire. As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the First Response / Screening Team, ensuring that all assessments and interventions are conducted in line with best practices and safeguarding standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff.
  • Ensuring effective screening and assessment processes are in place.
  • Providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitoring team performance and implementing improvements as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within social work.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
