We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Agency FCA team in Stevenage, working with CAFCASS. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children, conducting assessments, and providing expert recommendations to the courts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting child-focused assessments to determine the best interests of children in family law cases.
- Preparing detailed reports for court that reflect the needs and circumstances of children and families.
- Collaborating with legal professionals, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for children.
- Providing expert witness testimony in court when required.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of all casework and communications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and family court work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
