Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Support and Safeguarding Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and interventions to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
