Join our dynamic Family Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their welfare through effective assessment, intervention, and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in a children’s social care setting, particularly in safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
