Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and young people.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children in care and their families.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Collaborating with external agencies, schools, and health services to create a holistic support network.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and young people in care or leaving care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child welfare and safeguarding.
