We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. As a vital member of our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable children and families within the community.

In this position, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and investigations to identify risks and needs of children and families.
  • Collaborating with various agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to social work colleagues and other professionals.
  • Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups.
  • Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in child protection or safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with others.
