We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Family Help team in Trumpington, Cambridgeshire. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans for families in need of support.

  • Providing supervision and guidance to junior social workers and support staff.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work degree and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection, family support, or related fields.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse families.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
