We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Herefordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support positive outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to provide holistic support
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with regulatory standards

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in children's services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a complex caseload efficiently
