As a Qualified Social Worker in our AP - FSCP team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
  • Working closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in children’s social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection and family support.
