To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after children context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
