LAC/CIC Social Worker - Bolton £37 p/h

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced LAC/CIC Social Worker to join our team in Bolton. This position offers a competitive rate of £37 per hour in the Qualified Social Work field.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide high-quality support and intervention to Looked After Children (LAC) and Children in Care (CIC) to ensure their well-being and safety.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate services to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, schools, and other agencies, to provide holistic support.
  • Advocate for the rights and best interests of LAC/CIC within the legal framework and safeguarding guidelines.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Looked After Children and Children in Care, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
