We are seeking a dedicated Non case holding SEND Advanced Practitioner (CWD) to join our team in the Qualified Social Work field. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to children with disabilities and their families.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing tailored support plans for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals and educators, to ensure holistic care and support for children.
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior staff members and participating in continuous professional development activities.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of children with disabilities within the community and liaising with external agencies as needed.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in working with children with disabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in complex situations.
