We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our team as a Cardiff - TM - Youth Justice Service position. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention to young people involved in the criminal justice system, with a focus on rehabilitation and reintegration.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for young people
  • Delivering one-to-one and group interventions to address offending behavior
  • Liaising with external agencies and professionals to coordinate support services
  • Advocating for the needs and rights of young people within the justice system
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in youth justice or a similar field
  • Registration with the Social Care Wales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and restorative justice principles
