Sefton - Assistant Team Manager - Court Advisory Team
Sefton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Team Manager to join our Court Advisory Team within the Qualified Social Work field. This pivotal role requires a passionate individual committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As an Assistant Team Manager, you will support the Team Manager in overseeing the team’s operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and compliance with statutory requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the management and supervision of social work staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective practice.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of team objectives and policies that align with departmental goals.
- Overseeing case management, ensuring that assessments, plans, and reviews are conducted in a timely and thorough manner.
- Engaging with children, families, and other professionals to promote collaborative working and positive outcomes.
- Participating in court proceedings and providing expert advice and reports as required.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and court work, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
