Children's CPC - Cheshire East

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating child protection conferences, ensuring that the voices of children and families are heard and that their needs are met through effective planning and intervention.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
- Facilitating multi-agency meetings and conferences to develop and review child protection plans.
- Collaborating with families, children, and professionals to ensure effective support and intervention strategies.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders on child protection matters.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.
