Children's SW - Family Help Team - Achieving for Children
Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Family Help Team. This role is essential in providing support to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to deliver tailored services that address individual needs and challenges.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected.
- Monitoring progress and outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to multi-agency collaboration to enhance service delivery.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families in a social work capacity.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building positive relationships.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a varied caseload.
