We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Non Case Holding - Senior Qualified Social Work (QSW) Oversight Practitioner to join our Family Help team in Leicestershire. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert oversight and support to social work practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to families in need. Your insights and leadership will help shape best practices and improve outcomes for children and families across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight and guidance to social work practitioners, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular audits of casework and practice, identifying areas for improvement and development.
- Engaging in reflective supervision and mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to enhance service delivery and support for families.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of training programs for staff.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker status with a valid Social Work England registration.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in children and family social work.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Proven experience in mentoring and supporting social work practitioners.
