Social Worker - Children's
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Children’s Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support and advocacy for children and their families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to create and implement effective intervention plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and strengths.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing counseling and support to children and their families in crisis situations.
- Facilitating access to resources and services, including mental health support, educational programs, and community resources.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of cases and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with a valid social work license. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, crisis intervention skills, and a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics. Experience working with children in various settings, including schools, foster care, or mental health, is highly desirable.
