Social Worker - Integrated Front Door - Cheshire East

Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Integrated Front Door team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support and intervention to families and individuals in need. You will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable populations, conducting assessments, and ensuring that the right services are provided promptly and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of integrated service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with families and professionals.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
