Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification recognized in the UK.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in safeguarding and working within a Duty & Assessment team.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
