We are currently seeking a dedicated CP Chair to join our team in Nottinghamshire within the Qualified Social Work field. As a CP Chair, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families by overseeing child protection conferences and reviews.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Chairing child protection conferences and reviews in accordance with statutory guidelines and best practice.
  • Leading multi-agency discussions to assess risks and develop child protection plans.
  • Providing clear and concise recommendations to safeguard vulnerable children and support families.
  • Ensuring all decisions and actions are documented accurately and promptly.
  • Working collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for children.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A recognized social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection work and chairing complex meetings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess risks and make informed judgments.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage a demanding caseload.
