We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Worcestershire - CP Chair/ LADO to join our team in the Qualified Social Work field. This role offers a competitive rate of £38 per hour and the opportunity to make a real difference in safeguarding children and promoting their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties for this position include:

  • Chairing complex child protection conferences and reviews
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to professionals involved in safeguarding processes
  • Undertaking Section 47 investigations and making decisions in line with statutory guidance
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures

The essential qualifications and skills required for this role are:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Experience working in child protection and safeguarding
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

In addition to the essential requirements, candidates with experience as a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) will be highly desirable.
