We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CP - Sr. SW for our Stockton on Tees office in the Qualified Social Work field. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families, providing expert assessment and intervention services.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting complex assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Providing expert advice and support to less experienced social workers.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree and HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage complex caseloads, and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
