Children's AP - Stockton on Tees
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Stockton on Tees. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking complex assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
- Providing direct support and guidance to social workers and other team members.
- Participating in case conferences and meetings to review progress and ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Working collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to safeguard the welfare of children.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in a children's services setting.
- Registration with Social Work England and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage caseloads effectively.
