We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Workers to join our Fostering Team in Gloucestershire on a part-time or full-time basis. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting and safeguarding children and young people in foster care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and their families to develop and implement care plans
  • Providing support and guidance to foster carers to ensure the well-being of children in their care
  • Conducting regular visits to monitor the progress and welfare of children in foster placements
  • Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and interventions
  • Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children and young people
