We are seeking a dedicated and experienced social worker to join our Gloucestershire TM Safeguarding team in Stroud. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families in the local community.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the safety and well-being of children at risk.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Providing support and intervention to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards.
