We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children in Care (CIC) Team in Nottingham. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced social worker who wants to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. You will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency teams.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their needs are met.
- Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within a Children in Care or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
