Wirral - QSW - Assessment & Intervention Team
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Assessment & Intervention Team in Wirral. This role is essential in providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement effective interventions that promote positive outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that support the well-being of service users.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
- Building strong relationships with families, children, and external agencies to facilitate effective service delivery.
- Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work setting.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
