This position offers a competitive rate of £41.10 per hour on an umbrella basis. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners.
- Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers, fostering their professional development.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
