As a Children's Social Worker in the CWD team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop effective support plans.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance professional development and practice.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registered with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social work.
