As a Qualified Social Worker in the Duty & Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and their families to determine needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.
- Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
