Fostering Duty Social Worker | Gateshead
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fostering Duty Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Gateshead. - Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children in foster care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records, preparing reports, and participating in multi-agency meetings.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in fostering or child protection work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
