Children's Safeguarding Social Worker - Tameside

- Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in accordance with local policies.
- Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate responses and interventions.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and safeguarding frameworks.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/BSc in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in children's social services, particularly in safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
