As a Social Worker in the Fostering Support Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and reviews of foster placements to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a fostering or child protection setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
