Initial Contact Point (IFD/MASH) - QSW - North East Lincolnshire
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Initial Contact Point (IFD/MASH) team in North East Lincolnshire. As a vital member of our team, you will play an essential role in safeguarding children and families, ensuring their needs are met through effective assessment and intervention. Your expertise will help in making informed decisions that impact the lives of vulnerable individuals in our community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial assessments and screenings for referrals received from various sources.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to gather information and develop comprehensive understanding of cases.
- Managing and prioritizing a caseload while ensuring timely responses to safeguarding concerns.
- Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they are aware of available resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and professionals.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
