Children's SW - Fostering Team - Gloucestershire

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and services to children and families involved in the fostering process.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families to ensure appropriate placements
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being of children in foster care
  • Conducting regular visits and reviews with foster carers and children
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
