We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families to develop appropriate care plans.
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Providing support and guidance to families to promote their well-being and enhance their coping mechanisms.
- Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities in all interactions and decision-making processes.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all case work in accordance with regulatory standards.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working with children with disabilities and their families in a social work setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify needs and risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
