Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with foster carers, social workers, and other professionals to gather relevant information and insights.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to fostering panels and relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of foster placements, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with local authority policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection, fostering, or social work with children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
