We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CP Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance/Safeguarding Team in Salford. This pivotal role will focus on ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding practice and quality assurance within our social work services. You will work collaboratively with social workers, management, and external partners to promote best practices and enhance outcomes for children and families.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading case conferences and strategy meetings, ensuring comprehensive assessments and effective planning.
  • Monitoring and reviewing safeguarding cases to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and best practice standards.
  • Providing expert advice and support to social work teams regarding safeguarding procedures and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Conducting audits and evaluations of safeguarding practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Facilitating training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their understanding of safeguarding and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in safeguarding and child protection within a social work context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
