Children's IRO - Nottinghamshire

As a Children's IRO, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting independent reviews of care plans for children and young people in care.
- Facilitating meetings with children, families, and professionals to gather insights and feedback.
- Monitoring the implementation of care plans and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to social workers and other professionals involved in the care process.
- Advocating for the best interests of children and young people, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
