As a Children's Social Worker in the R&A Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support for families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislation and best practices.
  • Participating in team meetings and case discussions to promote shared learning and best outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in a statutory setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
