We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection (CP) and Children in Need (CIN) Team in Enfield. As a Qualified Social Worker in our CP/CIN Team, you will be responsible for a range of duties that are critical to ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
- Managing a caseload of complex cases involving child protection and family support.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with local policies and legislation.
- Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and children in need work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
